The name ‘Connemara’ is said to mean ‘Inlets of the Sea’. This perfectly reflects the jagged coastline of the area accompanied by the deserted beaches. I often set up my easel along on the rocks or the sand. Allowing me to watch the gentle movement of the light passing by and creating reflections on the water as it ebbs and flows with the tides.
