Ever since I was young I felt at home with design and this rolled on to my college days and through to my career. I always felt happy with creating in some form or other.

When I retired this gave me the leisure and time to fulfil a longing to paint. I started painting 10 years ago and the opportunity to travel gave me an extra inspiration to put brush to canvas.

I always feel that there is so much in our world to translate into painting. This has given me a totally new horizon in my life and in the fast moving world we live in, I get into my studio and time stops, hours go by almost unnoticed. This is true pleasure.
