I travel a lot with my Husband both in the UK and overseas. We really have the travel bug and pack in as many trips both overseas and here at home as time allows during the calendar year.
Places that inspire me are many from opening the window in the morning, watching the clouds form amazing movement and colours to the West Coast of Scotland, Ireland around Connemara, Sardinia with some of the almost pink sand and the Cotswolds where I live.
I paint in the much loved and much sought after traditional British style with a palette knife and brush, painting from real life scenes.
Scenes encountered on my travels predominantly within the British Isles. I never switch off and when travelling overseas I always build in time to paint at the destination we are visiting. Nothing stays the same and to be able to capture a moment in time is a wonderful way to spend my time.
As well as spending time travelling for her art, I have my own painting Studio here in the Cotswolds where I put the final touches to my paintings.
