Aberdovey beach gently borders the picturesque village of Aberdyfi in West Wales on the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park.

As the Dyfi estuary meets Cardigan Bay with its miles of sandy beaches, it’s absolutely charming.

When we arrived, there had been a storm a few hours before. The gentle beach was clawing its charm back from the aftermath as the sun started to set with promise that all would be calm and well in the morning.
