Day turning into night for pleasant dreams
As the day begins to make its journey into the night, on the Fylde coastal plain in Hambleton (Lancashire), the colours of the sky and the land beneath them start to take on inky hues that provide a sense of the history of this place.
Recorded as far back as 1086 in the Domesday Book as Hameltune, I can’t help but wonder at the thousand years of history before me. The people who walked here and took in the same views as I am, nearly a thousand years before.
