The travels of salt water. Its forever moving, forever changing its route. Trickling into rock pools, smashing into coves, creating natural works of art.

The sea on the West Coast of Scotland has been my muse for many of my paintings and she never tires. In this location it methodically and intentionally rushes its way through the rocks creating dark and light tones and a depth of colour that only nature can create.
