To arrive at Torc Waterfall in Co Kerry you first have to wander through the shaded, mossy woods with their drapes of dark green foliage before you come across this 20m high waterfall.

It’s both impressive and captivating. The water cascades over the boulders, framed by the trees and mosses that cling to its sides

My favourite place to paint is to sit on a rock by its edge. Here I am lost (and always a little overwhelmed) by the tranquillity of such a dramatic scene before me.
